Reference and Adult
Services
The
Reference and Adult Services Department (RASD) of the Roselle Public
Library serves patrons who are in sixth grade through college,
and all adult-aged patrons. We provide reference services to
our patrons through a collection of both print and electronic
resources. Reference services are provided by
professional librarians - in person, by telephone (630)
529-1641, x211, by
email, by instant message (IM),
and through online question
submissions. For those patrons with
more in-depth research projects, librarians are available to
assist with the use of the Library’s collections.
In addition to reference services, staff members
provide Reader's Advisory services to help patrons
select new books and authors they may enjoy. RASD
personnel arrange all
Adult programming, including Musical Sundays, Book
Discussions, Internet and E-Mail classes, Technology Tours and other
programs.
The Library’s Young Adult services and
programming are also handled through RASD. These include
summer and winter reading programs, special book discussions,
and demonstration programs and events.

The Reference and Adult Services Information Desk is
staffed during all hours the Library is open.
